Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa Newsletter July 201555On 05th June 2015 the Hyatt Thrive team and volunteers departed to Kondey island to celebrate World Environment Day by supporting local farmers to clean the autopot area where they grow watermelons. The Hyatt Thrive team assisted with the plantation of oleanders and sweet potatoes. Additionally, an area was made ready for planting papaya trees in the near future.

The World Ocean Day  theme this year is “Healthy oceans, healthy planet”. In compliance with the same, Park Hyatt Haadahaa is making a special effort to stop plastic pollution.

The world’s oceans generate most of the oxygen we breathe, help feed us, regulate our climate, clean the water we drink, offer a pharmacopoeia of potential medicines and provide limitless inspiration in all departments of life from leisure to life.

On 08th June 2015, the Hyatt Thrive and volunteer team accomplished their endeavor of a plastic – free underwater reef and harbor in their neighbor island.Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa Newsletter July 2015
